William Reusch was born and raised in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He never had an interest in academics and struggled to connect what he was learning in school to building a successful and meaningful life. Essentially, he felt like “School sucks” and as he got a bit older realized that that doesn’t make a lot of sense. We all enjoy being capable, informed, and equipped, yet the system designed to provide those traits seems to fail for so many young people. It was in the pursuit to improve this that Will decided to become a teacher.

Will graduated from Penn State University in 2005 with a BA in Secondary Education Social Studies with a minor in History. After graduation, he moved to Los Angeles and began his full-time teaching career. For the last thirteen years, he has been teaching at both public and private schools around the city. He currently possesses CA state teaching credentials in both Secondary Single Subject- Social Studies & Elementary- Multiple Subject.

In 2018, Will decided to take on a new challenge and “expand his classroom” beyond his school and into the realm of social media. In 2019 he began his podcast Cylinder Radio.
